TRACE- TRAP removes gas bubbles of your flow system
TRACE-TRAP is an airbubble trap, exhibiting superior pressure resistance as well as biocompatibility. TRACE-TRAP removes gas bubbles effectively in-line, making degassing of the carrier buffer or eluent unnecessary.
Additionally TRACE-TRAP prevents your enzyme reactors, (bio)sensors, chromatography columns, etc. from running dry. If the pump delivers air instead of liquid, the air will be removed completely by TRACE-TRAP - the flow at the outlet of the bubble trap stops and your device remains protected.
Features:
| - |
effective removal of air- and gasbubbles |
| - |
prevention from running dry |
| - |
two independent flow channels |
| - |
inert material (PEEK, PTFE) |
| - |
no dead volume, no dispersion nor peak broadening |
| - |
withstands pressures up to 2 resp. 5 bar |
| - |
easy exchange of membranes, long lifetime |
| - |
small and handy |
| - |
compatible with UNF-fittings (1/4''-28) |
Advantages:
| - |
no interfering signals from gas bubbles |
| - |
constant O2-supply for amperometric biosensors |
| - |
no running dry of the system |
| - |
saving of time (no degassing prior to work) |
| - |
saving of money (no more need for vacuum, helium, etc.) |
Application:
| - |
bubble trap in flow analysis (FIA, CFA) |
| - |
guard for liquid chromatography systems (LC/FPLC), enzyme reactors and biosensors |
